JESUS DID NOT OPPOSE POLYGAMY

JESUS DID NOT OPPOSE POLYGAMY

In Matthew Chapter 19 usually referred to by many Christians as clarification of Jesus Christ on the issue of polygamy never spoke about it.  Jesus actually thought on divorce and re-marriage, but not polygamy.

His discussion on the matter spelt out the differences in the destiny of men.  Some are eunuchs of men, some are born eunuchs, some made themselves eunuch for the kingdom sake.

If you have convincing proof that Jesus opposed polygamy with biblical references, please respond on this blog.

Pentecostal Polygamist

I have a lovely friend, a former assistant pastor in one of the fastest growing pentecostal churches in Nigeria, West Africa. My lovely friend fell to a sexual temptation with his secretary in the office. When questioned why he did that, his reason was that his wife has not been satisfying him sexually on account of her obesity and weight. He enrolled her into a gym to reduce her weight, but most of the times, his wife did not attend the gym. So instead of reducing weight she was adding more. She has protruding tummy that prevents my friend from lying on her during intercourse and she hates doggy style
To prevent continually falling into sexual sin, he decided to marry a second wife. His decision was vehemently opposed by his wife and some friends including his pastor. He however prevailed when he made his pastor realised that he may be tempted to have sexual affairs with some of the girls in the choir, if he is not allowed to marry a second wife. His pastor told him in confidence that if his wife added weight uncontrollably, he might be tempted to marry a second wife.
My friend eventually married a second wife at a traditional marriage ceremony. His union with the second wife has been blessed with a baby boy, named David
